Pipe Seal with PTFE A2572 is a slow-curing pipe sealant designed for the locking and sealing of metal pipes and fittings, and is used on most hydraulic, pneumatic, oil, water and gas connections. It provides a non‐shrink, instant, low-pressure seal on tightened fittings of up to 150psi. Once fully cured, Pipe Seal with PTFE A2572 can resist pressures of up to 10,000psi, whilst maintaining a vibration-proof seal that is resistant to most chemicals and corrosion. This grade is designed to offer a controlled low break strength, which allows easy component disassembly.

Pipe Seal with PTFE A2572 also contains Teflon, which lubricates the parts during assembly, providing additional maintenance support. Also, due to the advanced cure system, this grade allows the parts to be repositioned up to 48 hours after application, which has proven a huge advantage in both MRO and OEM market sectors.
