Description
The Hot Melt Applicator Gun HMG600 known as the K600 is a 60W glue gun perfectly suited to DIY, crafting, floristry and other general use. This glue gun is supplied with 1kg of our H1000 hotmelt glue which is an outstanding high-performance clear hot melt glue that can bond a range of different materials.
Lightweight & Easy to Use
The glue gun is very simple to use simply insert a hotmelt stick, plug it in and wait 5 minutes for it to heat to the operating temperature. It’s also extremely lightweight weighing only 200g it won’t slow you down. The little stand provided allows you to keep putting the gun down without concern for damaging the surface as the heated area remains elevated.
Suitable for the following glue sticks
HMG600 is only suitable for use with glue sticks which have a diameter of 12mm, our H1000 sticks are a great general purpose hotmelt which dry clear making them suitable for a large range of applications. This hot melt adhesive is suitable for bonding materials such as Paper, Board, Timber, Hardboard, Foams, ABS and Aluminium.

How to operate this glue gun
Insert an H1000 glue stick into the back of the glue gun. Pull the trigger until the glue stick has firmly entered the heating parts. Plug the glue gun into any AC outlet and wait 5 minutes to heat up. Pull the trigger gently to apply the glue stick until glue flows out from the nozzle. Release the trigger to stop the flow of glue. Apply pressure for about 30 seconds to complete the bonding. Unplug the glue gun when finished.
Maintenance
- To prevent blocking of the glue gun, keep feeding mechanism and melting chamber free from dirt and debris. Store unused sticks in a clean environment.
- Do not pull glue sticks from the back of the glue gun. If you need to change types of glue, cut off the unused end and feed the remainder through with the new type of glue.
- Do not lay the heated gun on its side. Keep the heated gun in an upright position only with nozzle pointed down.
- If melted glue has escaped from the melt chamber entrance and is interfering with the feed mechanism, allow gun to cool and gently remove the obstructing glue.
