Description
Chemique’s ProAqua range are water-based sprayable adhesives, superior in performance to solvented products and still environmentally friendly, minimising the impact of dangerous pollutants.
ProAqua 3311 is the adhesive component of a two-component water-based sprayable adhesive that exhibits the softest of bond lines. Used in conjunction with ProAqua activator 3149 the adhesive offers a high initial tack that will rival that of a traditional contact adhesive.
Qualities
The ProAqua 3311 formulation allows users to comply with the most recent environmental legislation. With no solvent component to either the adhesive or the activator the two-part system is much safer to use than a traditional solvented product.
This specially formulated non flammable adhesive is ideal for upholstery, mattress manufacturing and foam converting that require the bonding of:
- Foam to foam
- Foam to wood
Tailored for various foam types and densities, this high quality adhesive excels at securing the substrates in place even under high tension.
Size
This adhesive is supplied in a 25kg poly tub.
Industries
The unique qualities of this adhesive make it a popular choice in the foam and furniture industry suitable for;
- Upholstery / re-upholstery
- Furniture manufacture
- Mattress manufacture
- Foam fabrication
- Contract / domestic furniture.
Spray system
The ProAqua 3311 water-based polychloroprene adhesive is used in conjunction with the ProAqua Activator 3149 at a ratio of 7:1.
This two part adhesive is sprayed via a single gun onto the substrate using the Duo Dek spray system which can also be found here. It is a wall mounted system which is more flexible to use within a manufacturing environment as the adhesive does not require high levels of extraction.
We also offer a flame retardant version of the ProAqua 3311 which is the Pro Aqua 3316.

Water-based Adhesive information
Water-based adhesives provide an eco-friendly solution when switching to safer adhesive options. Their versatility and ease of use make them a preferable option across various industries and can provide a cost-effective option when compared to traditional solvent-based adhesives. One of the main advantages of water-based adhesives is that they are environmentally friendly and minimise the impact of pollutants, due to being formulated without VOCs (volatile organic compounds) which are found in many other adhesives. They form a strong bond and exhibit versatility in adhering to a variety of substrates, making them a popular choice across many industries.
