- Upholstery / re-upholstery
- Furniture manufacture
- Mattress manufacture
- Foam fabrication
- Contract / domestic furniture.
Size
This product is supplied in two 25kg poly tubs. As the shelf life of the ProAqua Activator 3149 is so much longer than that of the adhesive you do not need to replace the tubs at the same rate as the adhesive. Therefore we also offer the adhesive separately.
Spray system
The ProAqua Activator 3149 is used in conjunction with the ProAqua 3316 water-based polychloroprene adhesive at a ratio of 7:1.
This two part adhesive is sprayed via a single gun onto the substrate using the Duo Dek spray system which can also be found here. It is a wall mounted system which is more flexible to use within a manufacturing environment as the adhesive does not require high levels of extraction.

Water-based Adhesive information
Water-based adhesives provide an eco-friendly solution when switching to safer adhesive options. Their versatility and ease of use make them a preferable option across various industries and can provide a cost-effective option when compared to traditional solvent-based adhesives. One of the main advantages of water-based adhesives is that they are environmentally friendly and minimise the impact of pollutants, due to being formulated without VOCs (volatile organic compounds) which are found in many other adhesives. They form a strong bond and exhibit versatility in adhering to a variety of substrates, making them a popular choice across many industries.
