Chemique’s ProAqua range are water-based sprayable adhesives, superior in performance to solvented products and still environmentally friendly, minimising the impact of dangerous pollutants.
ProAqua Activator 3149 is the activator component of a two-component water-based sprayable adhesive that exhibits the softest of bond lines and offers a high initial tack that will rival that of a traditional contact adhesive.
Qualities
The ProAqua range formulation allows users to comply with the most recent environmental legislation. With no solvent component to either the adhesive or the activator the two-part system is much safer to use than a traditional solvented product.
Size
This product is supplied in 25kg poly tubs. As the shelf life of the ProAqua Activator 3149 is so much longer than that of the adhesive you do not need to replace the tubs at the same rate as the adhesive.
Spray system
The ProAqua Activator 3149 is used in conjunction with both the ProAqua 3311 and the ProAqua 3316 water-based polychloroprene adhesives at a ratio of 7:1.
This two part adhesive is sprayed via a single gun onto the substrate using the Duo Dek spray system which can also be found here. It is a wall mounted system which is more flexible to use within a manufacturing environment as the adhesive does not require high levels of extraction.
