Description
This PETG glue / acrylic adhesive is a fast-curing superglue with a clear cement that is specifically formulated to bond PETG and acrylic to itself and other substrates, ensuring that you get a strong bond for all your PETG parts. This adhesive guarantees excellent adhesion and maximum effect on appropriate surfaces.
250ml Kit comprises of
The PETG adhesive kit comprises 250ml of adhesive in a tin, along with an empty bottle and a dosing tip for ease of application. This kit is perfect for various glue applications with PETG.
How to apply this adhesive
All PETG / acrylic surfaces to be adhered must be dry and free from grease. Degrease with a suitable degreaser. For best results, if the liquid glue is “wicked” into the joint, a slight forward and backward motion until the adhesive “bites” will speed up the cure. Ideally, a pressure of 80 kilos per square meter should be applied over the bonded area.
Low viscosity & fast curing
This acrylic adhesive has low viscosity and fast-curing properties, making it one of the best glues for gluing PETG and acrylic in a variety of glue applications.
Adhesive variations
This adhesive comes in several variations to match the package volume and package size that suits your needs:
- 250ML PETG glue / Acrylic Adhesive Kit – WC123
- 500ML PETG glue / Acrylic Adhesive – WC123
- 1 Litre PETG glue / Acrylic Adhesive – WC123
Application Uses
Bonding PETG Plastic
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is commonly used to manufacture clear plastic products. The WC123 adhesive can bond PETG parts, ensuring a strong bond and clear connection on various surfaces.
Point of Sale Displays
PETG is frequently used in point-of-sale displays. The WC123 adhesive can help assemble these displays quickly and securely, ensuring that the final product has a strong bond and looks professional.
Automotive Interior Components
Some automotive interior components, such as clear lenses and trim, are made from PETG. The WC123 adhesive can be used to bond these components during manufacturing, guaranteeing durability and resistance.
Electronics Enclosures
When creating clear or translucent enclosures for electronic devices, PETG is a popular choice. WC123 adhesive ensures a strong bond for these enclosures, making sure your enclosure has the integrity it needs to protect sensitive electronics.
Architectural Model Making
Architects and designers often use PETG to create scale building models. WC123 adhesive helps assemble these models neatly and securely, making it easy to apply with its applicator dosing tip for precise bonding of parts.
Exhibition Booth Construction
PETG is used to construct exhibition booths and displays. The WC123 adhesive can join PETG panels and parts in such constructions, providing a strong bond.
Craft and DIY Projects
PETG is also used in various craft and DIY projects, such as gluing 3D prints made from PETG, general arts and crafts and more. WC123 adhesive can be handy for gluing PETG in creative and functional applications, making it a must-have in your toolbox for general use and craft projects.

Directions for Use
- Supplied ready for use, it is best applied by brush, bottle, or syringe with a suitable dosing tip. This ensures precise application, especially on heated beds or print surfaces like a textured PEI plate.
- All surfaces to be adhered must be dry and free from grease. Degrease with a suitable degreaser, especially when working with PETG parts on a print bed.
- The adhesive is normally “wicked” into the joint. Ideally, a pressure of 80 kilos per square meter should be applied over the bonded area to enhance bed adhesion and avoid printing failures.
- Care should be taken to avoid excess cement outside the bonding area. The cement is very aggressive, so any excess could cause smearing on the PETG / acrylic and should be soaked up with tissue or similar and not wiped. Wiping could result in smearing the surface of the PETG / acrylic quite badly, especially on visible areas like the bottom of the model.
Precautionary Information
- Large face-to-face surfaces will be a problem as the solvent has to evaporate. Too large an area may result in the adhesive inside the joint gradually eating into the substrate as it cannot evaporate, especially when working on a high-temperature plate or heated bed.
- WC123 supplied in metal containers has a shelf life of 1 year if stored correctly between 5°C and 25°C, ensuring consistent performance across various glue applications.
